Arsenal went in front through Eduardo Da Silva but Sevilla came storming back through Seydou Keita, who took benefit of some amateurish defending from Philippe Senderos to unleash a fierce shot that beat Emanuel Almunia all ends up.

A great header by the in-form Luis Fabiano put Sevilla in front and ex-Spurs player, Freddie Kanoute rubbed salt into Arsenal's injury by scoring a late penalty to levy Arsenal's 1st defeat in all competitions this season.

In the other game in this group, Slavia Prague salvaged a draw at Steaua Bucharest to qualify for the Uefa cup.

Fenerbahce pulled a goal back through Deivid before Freddy Kanoute made it 3-1.

Sevilla employer then made an almighty error that caused them the tie by taking off leading goalscorer, Luis fabiano to bring on Renato in the second half.

Deivid scored again to take the tie to extra-time and then penalties with Volkan going from zero to hero.

An early goal by Xavi located this tie once and for all with the downside being a muscular injury to Leo Messi that left him in tears.
